Trial Masters™ was born from an observation that attorneys with significant trial experience were not easily distinguishable from their colleagues. The old guard lawyer rating services have always had subjective criteria that are not easily discernible other than being a popularity contest, or worse, simply pay-to-play. We’re fixing that one lawyer at a time. We are a unique trial attorney group, in that membership is available to both plaintiff and defense attorneys, and it is based on the purely objective measure of experience in the courtroom over a period of time. Trial Masters sought to differentiate itself and its members from the handful of “Better Lawyers” awards and “Top Lawyers” lists that are completely subjective in nature.
While the big boys in this industry continue with their long-standing popularity contests, Trial Masters knew there had to be a better way. Quite simply, we understood that if we could tie Trial Masters’ eligibility to a real world benchmark that could be objectively measured and also one that could not be obtained in one single litigation event, Trial Masters would have something head and shoulders above all of the others. We did that, and Trial Masters is a group that lawyers can trust in their referral decisions, and the public can look to to differentiate trial attorneys from their case settling colleagues.
As a Trial Masters member attorney, you show clients and referral attorneys that you have substantial experience in the courtroom. Any lawyer can get lucky and settle a big case, or be popular with his or her peers, but does that convey real experience? The short answer is no. Hence, Trial Masters™.
Trial Masters isn’t a “who’s who” list. Trial Masters is a “who’s done it” list. Have you done it?
Trial Masters™ strives to provide a platform for attorneys to leverage their courtroom experience through objective merit based membership.
